Leon Beauchman is Area Manager, External Affairs for AT&T in Santa Clara County. He is a delegate to the California School Boards Association. He served on the executive board for the Santa Clara County School Boards Association and is past-chair of the Education Committee of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group. Leon has served as a director of the California School Boards Association, and as a member of the California High School Exit Exam Panel and the California Education Master Plan Committee. He was a member of the Mayor's Education Task Force and the board of Joint Venture Silicon Valley's Education Initiative. He served six years on the board of the Campbell Union School District. He is president of the Santa Clara County Alliance of Black Educators, and a member of the NAACP of San Jose and 100 Black Men. Leon holds a MBA from San Jose State University and lives in San Jose with his wife, Dr. Nejleh T. Abed, and their three sons.

T. N. Ho is a technology consultant and runs an import business with his wife in San Jose. He serves on the Policy Development Subcommittee and the NCROP Operations Committee. His background as an educator includes teaching computer science at California Lutheran University and information systems at Moorpark College, Moorpark, CA. T.N. has a bachelor's degree in electrophysics from National Chiao-Tung University in Taiwan, and a master's degree in computer science from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL. T.N. lives in San Jose with his wife, Kathryn. He has two sons.

Jane Howard is the executive director of the Gilroy Visitors Bureau. She serves on the Joint Committee on Child Care, the Budget Study Committee and the SCROP Operations Committee. Her school board experience includes four years as a Gilroy Unified School District trustee, including one year as president. Her community service positions have included: president of the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, chair of the South Valley Hospital Board of Directors, director of the 1998 Gilroy Garlic Festival, director of the Gilroy Rotary Club, and former president of the Leadership Gilroy Education Foundation. She continues to serve actively as a member of the Gilroy Rotary Club and Gilroy Chamber of Commerce. She is past treasurer and vice chair of the Santa Clara County Republican Central Committee, and in 2000 was a delegate to the National Republican Party Convention. She graduated from Ireland, Indiana High School and attended Foothill College in Los Altos, majoring in accounting. They live in Gilroy and have two grown daughters and four grandchildren.

Grace H. Mah has been a board member of the Palo Alto Family YMCA, a parent volunteer at Hoover Elementary School in Palo Alto, and an author of a proposal for a Mandarin immersion program in the Palo Alto Unified School District. She serves on the Joint Legislative Advisory Committee and the Head Start Policy Council. In her work with the YMCA she has been on committees addressing international relationships and diversity, as well as participating in fund-raising activities. At Hoover she served on the school site council and led Noon Science Showcase, offering hands-on experiments for students. Grace has 18 years of experience in the high-tech industry, including project management and sales experience. She has a B.S. in Engineering and Applied Science from the California Institute of Technology, and a master's degree in electrical engineering and computer science from UC-Berkeley. Grace and her husband, Don Chin, and their two sons live in Palo Alto.

Craig Mann is a teacher in the Ravenswood School District. Previously he worked in private industry throughout most of his career. He is the chair of the Policy Development Subcommittee, and serves on the Budget Study and Joint Legislative Advisory Committees. Craig was a member and chair of San Jose's Human Rights Commission for three years, worked as a parent volunteer, served as a church trustee and has served on several non-profit boards. His school board experience includes eight years as an East Side Union High School District trustee and two years as a Metropolitan Education District trustee. As an East Side trustee, Craig led the building of the Evergreen Valley High School; two bond initiatives totaling about $400 million; and negotiated a model project labor agreement with the Santa Clara and San Benito Building Construction Trades Council, which created apprenticeships, internships and a Construction Technology Academy for East Side students. Craig holds a B.S. in business administration from San Jose State University and a MBA from the University of Phoenix. Craig and his wife, Leila Welch, a school administrator, live in San Jose and have two daughters, Lenee and Brittany.

Gary Rummelhoff is Vice President of Operations and Chief Financial Officer at United Way Silicon Valley. He is on the Santa Clara County School Boards Association Executive Board, and serves on the Joint Committee on Child Care. His prior career experience includes senior financial positions in several high tech companies in Silicon Valley. His school board experience includes two terms as a trustee at San Jose Unified School District, where he twice held the position of president. For seven years he was district representative to the Santa Clara County School Board Association (SCCSBA), where he served as president from 2003-2004. Gary has been a delegate to the California School Board Association for six years, where he has chaired the Urban Council and served as a Government Relations Chair. He holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University. Gary and his wife Jean live in Almaden Valley and have two children.

Originally elected in 2000 and re-elected strongly in 2004, Anna Song, age 39, brings more than 15 years
experience in counseling, youth education, domestic violence intervention and fair housing enforcement to her
role on the Santa Clara County Board of Education. Anna was the first Korean-born female to be elected in
California's history. Anna served as Board president in 2004 and currently serves on the Joint Legislative
Advocacy Committee. Anna has worked with a wide range of youth, including those from South Central Los Angeles,
Los Altos and Santa Clara County's Juvenile Hall. In addition to her school board work, Anna has been elected
three times to the Santa Clara County Democratic Central Committee and is in her eighth year on the Democratic
State Central Committee. She was awarded the State Democratic Party's JFK, Jr. Award for Public Service and
has been commended by SEIU for her advocacy. Anna is bilingual in Korean and English and also speaks some
Spanish. She holds a bachelor's degree in theology and mental health from Franciscan University in Ohio
and has studied at the Franciscan School of Theology in Berkeley. Anna lives in Santa Clara with her husband,
Chris Stampolis, and their two young sons.
