Professional Development Services Title

SCCOE Professional Development services for educators include seminars, conferences, workshops and institutes in all content areas. All program offerings focus on:

  • Research-based instructional strategies
  • Curriculum standards
  • Teaching standards

In addition to our regular schedule of classes, we offer a highly qualified team available to customize workshops to meet your needs, provide on-site coaching and standards and assessments alignments.

Curriculum Leadership Council
The goal of the CLC is to build district and school leadership capacity to improve teaching and learning. Participants will develop leadership skills; understand national, state, and county initiatives; interact with current research; and receive professional development focusing on academic language and best practices. To register, contact Kirsten Sarginger.
Mathematics
SCCOE offers mathematics workshops, institutes and conferences for pre-K through grade 12 educators.
Take Home Book Program
The Take Home Book Program is a school based program that encourages families to read with their children.
SCCOE/Silicon Valley New Teacher BTSA Project
The SCCOE/Silicon Valley New Teacher BTSA Project is a collaborative between thirty (30) Santa Clara County school districts, the Santa Cruz New Teacher Project and the University of California @ Santa Cruz.
